A land-based cultural tour of a local village is an opportunity to get an insight into the lives of the rural Caprivi Strip inhabitants.

After days of discovering all that cosmopolitan Cape town has to offer, this morning, drop off your hire car at Cape Town Airport and board your flight to Eastgate Airport (Hoedspruit).
On arrival you will be met and transferred to Geigers Camp where you will be staying in a luxury Tent with All meals, 2 Games Drives daily, and drinks. Enjoy a refreshing drink while completing the check-in procedures and later settle in your luxury tent,
Geigers Camp, an owner-managed is a small intimate luxury camp with only 4 luxury Tents and is located in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve which lies along the western border of Kruger National Park and shares an unfenced border with the iconic Kruger National Park allowing animals free movements and ensuring that guests have an opportunity to view the greatest diversity of wildlife that South Africa has to offer.
Known for its natural splendour, a wide swathe of the bush, and high density of wildlife – including the Big Five, and over 350 bird species, The Timbavati is home to the elusive white lion and is considered one of South Africa’s premier game viewing destinations.
Guests visiting Geigers Camp will enjoy early dawn and afternoon/evening 4 x 4 game drives. Rangers are allowed to go off-road whenever necessary to get closer to predator sightings, hence creating good photography opportunities.
During the game drives your experienced game ranger and expert local tracker will share their extensive knowledge and love for the African bush with you. Animals and birds in the reserve have become used to having the game drive vehicles in close proximity due to a carefully planned and managed habituation process. This allows us to get really close to them and forms part of the appeal of the Luxury Lodge Safari!
Return to the lodge and there is time to freshen up and meet in the bar for pre-dinner drinks.
Mealtimes are a sociable affair, with dinner served under the stars (weather permitting), inside reed enclosed boma, around a roaring log fire. This is the time to discuss the afternoon sightings as well as tomorrow’s plans with your ranger.

An early morning wake-up call signals the start of a new day in the bush. The Panorama route is a beautiful winding road situated on top of the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains which is the longest and largest mountain range in South Africa.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to connect with your flight and fly to Livingstone Airport in Zambia.

As you drift down the Chobe River and spot incredible wildlife scenes, you’ll be able to completely relax in an intimate river safari experience. With only a small number of guests per boat staying in one of the three Chobe Princesses is like being on your very own houseboat.
Two of our Chobe Princess houseboats have four cabins each: three Standard and one Superior Cabin. The third Princess is larger with five cabins: three Standard and two Superior Cabins – one with a front balcony and the other located on the upper (top) deck.
Your accommodation in a Standard Cabin has beautiful big windows that slide open to let in those ever-changing river views. Listen to the soft grunt of hippo as you watch for an elephant at the water’s edge – all from the comfort of your king-size bed. Cabin interiors have soft tan linens, and a soothing colour scheme of riverine blues and whites that blend with the natural landscape.
