This safari combines game viewing at two iconic wildlife destinations: The Sabi Sands Game reserve and the Kruger National Park to ensure an unrivalled Kruger Park safari experience. This journey starts with a visit to Idube Game Reserve located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve in the heart of South Africa’s premier wildlife conservation area of the Greater Kruger Park. After 3 days of safari bliss guests will be driven in the South of the Kruger to the multi-activity Lukimbi Safari Lodge where the Big 5 and a wide variety of other animals roam free in their natural habitat and one of the best places to see Rhino in the Kruger National Park.
On arrival at OR Tambo Airport – Johannesburg, you will be met and transferred to Federal Air private lounge and depending on your flight option you will depart either at 10h30 OR 12h30 for the Ulusaba airstrip.
On arrival at the airstrip, you will be welcome by the lodge’s team and driven to Idube Game Lodge, where you will be welcome once again by a member of the management.
Enjoy a refreshing drink while completing check-in procedures. Once you are settled into your chalet, depending on your arrival time enjoy lunch or afternoon tea.

Guests visiting Idube Game will be treated to morning and afternoon/early evening game drives. Between the game drives, bush walks are offered with an experienced armed tracker (these walks are subject to availability). Knowledgeable guides and local trackers will lead you on guided nature walks through the heart of the bush, revealing some of nature’s most closely guarded secrets. You will have a chance to experience the African bushveld close-up as you tread past intriguing plants, and smaller creatures such as birds, reptiles, insects and tiny mammals.
After enjoying refreshing sundowners in the lush bush during the afternoon Game drives, back at the lodge for a delicious dinner served under the African stars – weather permitting – or in the dining room. It is time to discuss the day’s highlights and swap stories with fellow guests.
