On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by our Representative and transferred to The Portswood Hotel ideally located at the entrance to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Experience a piece of Cape Town’s rich history while staying at this 4-star hotel
where the lobby and restaurant are built around a 300-year-old well and the cells which held prisoners on their way to Robben Island.
Enjoy a taste of Cape Malay food at the recently refurbished Quarter Kitchen restaurant and then head out to enjoy all that the Cape has to offer.
The rest of your day is at leisure to unwind and get ready for your first adventure the following day.

This morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up for your scheduled half-day city and Table Mountain tour.
Enjoy the incredible views from atop Table Mountain, and after descending, you will take a scenic coastal drive through Camps Bay, Clifton and Sea Point. You will drive past the Cape Town Stadium and through the V&A Waterfront to the city centre where you will visit Green Market Square. You’ll stretch your legs with a walk through the Company Gardens.
The tour continues with a drive past the Houses of Parliament, the City Hall, The Castle and Slave Lodge, before entering the “Bo Kaap”, also known as the Malay quarter. Learn about the history of this area of brightly painted houses and quaint cobbled streets. You will finish with a dazzling diamond tour before returning to your hotel.
The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. You may embark on a Robben Island Tour to see the cell where the South African prisoner icon, Nelson Mandela spent 27 Years incarcerated.
The following day you will head out on a scheduled full-day Cape peninsula tour, which takes you to Cape Point along the scenic Atlantic seaboard coastal road. You will pass the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay and the formidable 12 Apostles Peaks. You will make your way to Hout Bay, over Chapman’s Peak, which offers amazing photo opportunities, and onto the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. This area is home to magnificent ‘fynbos’, many different species of antelope and birds, the Cape Mountain Zebra, and mischievous baboons.
You will then visit Boulders Beach to see the African penguins, before arriving at the naval base of Simonstown, and then to your last stop of the day at the simply stunning Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Take the time to browse this spectacular Garden, showcasing a treasure of indigenous South African plants.

After days of discovering all that cosmopolitan Cape town has to offer, you will be transferred back this morning to Cape Town Airport where you will board your flight to Eastgate Airport (Hoedspruit) – (flight cost not included). On arrival, you will be met by a representative of the Kapama Team for your transfer to the Lodge.
Kapama Private Game Reserve is an African Eden. Sweeping across 13 000 hectares of savannah and riverine forest, Kapama represents a piece of Africa as it used to be. With the mighty Drakensberg mountains in the distance and iconic Kruger National Park to the east, Kapama has distilled the finest wildlife safari offerings for the enjoyment of guests. As part of the greater Kruger area, vast herds of buffalo, elephant, rhino and species of antelopes are residents on Kapama, along with plentiful predators, lion, leopard … The reserve is a slice of wilderness paradise far from the madding crowd, a place of renewal and reconnection with the natural world.
On arrival at Kapama Southern Camp enjoy welcome drinks while completing check-in procedures. Settle in your spacious Suite with all the luxury that the Kapama portfolio of lodges is known for.
Later have lunch and get ready for your first 4 x 4 Game Drive.
During your stay, you will be treated to morning and afternoon game drives as well as bush walks.
Game Drives
Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles. Accompanied by a skilled ranger and tracker, you can expect to encounter a diverse range of animal and bird species. Since this is a Big Five reserve, expect to encounter lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalo. It is possible to see the Big Five over one or a two-day safari.
While seeing big game is always exhilarating, many other smaller species are also captivating, and birding enthusiasts will be delighted at the approximately 350 species of bird recorded on the reserve. Throughout the day, you will likely see wildlife such as nyala antelope, Vervet monkeys or even a few of the Big Five.
Bush Walks
Experience the African bush on foot under the guidance of a skilled ranger. Your guide will point out medicinal plants, insects and birdlife along the way, and share traditional tracking skills such as using animal footprints and scat to identify animals.
This is a truly memorable, authentic and intimate encounter with nature and wildlife.

This morning after breakfast and check-out procedures, you will be picked up for a road transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for the flight to Livingstone (flight cost not included). Please note that this will be an early transfer.
On arrival at Livingstone Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to Victoria Falls –
Get your passport ready to save time when crossing the Zimbabwean border. On arrival at Victoria Safari Lodge, enjoy welcome drinks while completing check-in procedures.
Your stay is a 2-Night at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge on Bed & Breakfast in a Waterhole facing room.
Later in the afternoon, you may opt for the afternoon sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River (on your own account). The Zambezi cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the river.

Victoria Falls offers a plethora of activities from the guided tour of the Falls; the sunset cruise on the Zambezi River to a helicopter flight over the falls as well as adrenaline activities such as bungee Jumping, ziplining off the historic Victoria Falls Bridge, white water rafting a leisurely canoe down the gorge…
You may also visit some local craft markets to get some souvenir gifts for the family back home
