On arrival at OR Tambo Airport – Johannesburg, you will be met and transferred to Federal Air private lounge and depending on your flight option you will depart either at 10h30 OR 12h30 for the Ulusaba airstrip.
On arrival at the airstrip, you will be welcome by the lodge’s team and transferred by a 4 x 4 Game vehicle. This is a game drive transfer as you will see wildlife as soon as you leave the airstrip.
Arrive at Inyati Game Lodge for a Welcome Drink followed by check-in procedures. The lodge can accommodate a maximum of 25 guests in 11 luxury chalets maintaining the family ambience it’s become renowned for. Every air-conditioned chalet features an en-suite bathroom with twin hand basins, a separate bath, shower & toilet. Once you are settled in your room, enjoy lunch.
Around 15h30, gather for a decadent high tea during which you will be introduced to your Ranger. After your briefing, Board on the lodge 4 x 4 Open Landcruiser before setting off on your first safari drive in the game reserve. The location of the lodge within the Sabi Sands Game is renowned for its prolific wildlife including the Big 5 and famous for its incredible leopard sightings, guests visiting
Guests can expect thrilling wildlife encounters. During the game drive your experienced game ranger and expert local tracker will share their extensive knowledge and love for the African bush with you. Animals and birds in the reserve have become used to having the game drive vehicles in close proximity due to a carefully planned and managed habituation process. This allows us to get really close to them and forms part of the appeal of the Luxury Lodge Safari!
The absence of windows on the Game vehicle and the elevated vantage position allows for excellent photographic opportunities. You will have an amazing chance not only to view the game but also to listen to and smell the African bush and its denizens.
While on Game Drive, you will stop for Sundowners at a magnificent location and toast the splendour of Africa as you watch the sunset sink into the dusty horizon. Continue on with the game drive after dark. As darkness falls, nocturnal animals of the bush get excited as they celebrate” their dawn “and come out. Your skilled tracker will scan the landscape using a spotlight, which illuminates animals’ eyes. A variety of completely different species can be seen on the night drive back to the lodge. Arrival is at the lodge in the early evening, there is time to freshen up before dinner is served around the campfire in the open-air boma or in the thatched restaurant. Dinner combines African and Western cuisine. It is time to share tales around the campfire and to plan for tomorrow’s safari drive with your ranger.

The day begins early with tea or coffee with muffins and fruit before departing on the Game Drive which will take approximately 3-4 hours. The cooler morning temperatures mean that the game in the reserve is often more active, and the softer light makes for great images.
Your guide has an intimate knowledge of the park, which contributes a great deal towards a brilliant game drive. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, after which the rest of the day is at leisure, relaxing in your room or by the pool and dipping into a good book or enjoying the rest of the lodge’s facilities.
In between the game drives guests are welcome to join the bush walk led by an experienced armed Tracker. Lunch is served around 14h00 and it is time for a little siesta.
Around 15h30 gather with fellow guests for high tea in preparation for your afternoon game drive during which your experienced guide will go through your wildlife Wishlist to find out what hasn’t been ticked yet, but you may also be lucky that by your second game drive your wildlife expectations have already been met and exceeded. Enjoy your afternoon game drive with a stop for Sundowner to stretch your legs and witness the African sunset.
Back again at the lodge after an exhilarating afternoon of unforgettable bush life. Get ready for dinner and time to discuss the day’s highlights with fellow guests and rangers and make new friends. After yet another evening under the African stars, enjoy your last night in the bush.

Today will be another early start for a final morning game drive. One last opportunity to experience the magic that only the African Bush can offer!
After the game drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and afterwards complete the check-out procedures before being transferred back to Ulusaba airstrip for your flight back to Johannesburg for onward private arrangements.
