Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you onto your light-scheduled domestic aircraft. From here you will be flown to Kulefu Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi National Park.
On arrival at the airstrip, a guide will be waiting to take you on a 15 mn road transfer to Anabezi Camp located on the banks of the almighty Zambezi River. Anabezi Camp, a distinguished luxury safari camp set on the Eastern End of the lower Zambezi National Park will be your home for the following five days.
Accommodation here consists of 11 large luxurious tents including two bedrooms family suite. Each luxury tent has its own private plunge pool set into the expansive wood deck with a stunning view. The tents are generously spaced along the Zambezi Riverbank and the Mushika flood plain, allowing the game to wander in and around the camp freely.
Enjoy a combination of water and land daily activities.
Mesmerising game drives, tranquil river cruises, exciting fishing expeditions, canoe trips down the Zambezi’s quiet and secluded channels, wilderness walks accompanied by an experienced scout, and spectacular birding excursions are all part of the Anabezi experience.
The proximity of Anabezi to the Zambezi River and its position within the National Park lends itself to unparalleled wildlife encounters. A game drive will reveal a kaleidoscope of African animals, flourishing in their natural environment. An evening expedition may reveal one of our resident leopards, while on a morning drive, you will almost certainly bump into a herd of elephants and may see local pride of lions or endangered wild dogs on an early morning hunting foray. Slow afternoons casting the Zambezi River for the legendary tiger fish will captivate fishing enthusiasts, while a leisurely paddle in a canoe down one of the river channels will reveal distant hippo, waterbuck or a formidable gathering of buffalo.
Whether you prefer a walk through the ethereal atmosphere of the Winterthorn forest or a sundowner overlooking the Zambezi flooded in the hazy afternoon light, you will have it all.

Today after the last morning activity followed by breakfast, you will be flown to Mfuwe in the South Luangwa National Park known as the birthplace of the walking safari and one of the premier game viewing destinations in Zambia and throughout Africa.
On arrival at Mfuwe Airport, you will be welcomed and driven to Lion Camp, an intimately private lodge offering 10 individual thatch and canvas suites with unobtrusive views.
Seat and enjoy a three-hour game drive transfer to the camp, a hidden gem located in the northernmost reaches of Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park; one of the best places in Africa for an authentic wilderness safari. Being away from the park gates, guests enjoy very private and exclusive game viewing away from the crowd and where guests are one with nature and its inhabitants. With little traffic, the area lends itself to outstanding photographic opportunities compared to further south in the park, making this a great destination for keen photographers, particularly those in search of predators.
The camp overlooks a lagoon area, providing a year-round supply of water for both plains game and elephants, which are often seen grazing during the day. The camp itself is unfenced and elephants, hippos and antelope were usually seen wandering through the camp. The game viewing is impressive with sightings of lion, leopard, wild dog, large herds of elephant and buffalo, the unique Thornicroft’s giraffe, Cookson’s wildebeest, Crawshay’s zebra and incredible birds.
Guests will partake in 4 x4 game drives and walking safaris which are a great way to experience the finer details of the landscape otherwise missed on a vehicle.
Guests will also enjoy night drives, which give the option of viewing nocturnal creatures by the spotlight and the chance to search for the elusive leopard under the cover of darkness.
