This journey begins with a visit to Botswana, known for its stunning, unspoilt natural habitat, incredible wildlife and luxurious safari lodges. Witness Africa’s famed big five from the dramatic floodplains of Moremi Wildlife Reserve while visiting Belmond Khwai River Lodge.
From here, proceed to the elephant-rich Chobe National Park for a 2-night stay on the banks of the Savute Channel at Belmond Savute Lodge and watch predators sprint across the Channel. After four blissful nights in Botswana, it is crossing border time to neighbouring Zambia for some layback water activities and more in the Lower Zambezi National Park.

Day 1 - 2Maun to Moremi Wildlife Reserve

On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met and assisted with boarding your scheduled light aircraft to Belmond Khwai River Lodge where animal magic meets old-world indulgence. The Khwai River acts as a magnet for wildlife.
Ideally positioned to see the big game of Moremi Game Reserve, rated as one of the most prolific in Botswana. This luxury lodge is a year-round destination. Wildlife and predators that can regularly be seen in the area include elephants, Buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and also Wild Dogs. Your stay at Belmond Khwai River Lodge grants you a front-row seat for the drama of the Delta. Witness the elephants herding their young from your private elevated deck. Or revive at sundown in a private plunge pool; you might hear the call of slaty egrets bidding each other goodnight.

Day 3 - 4Moremi Wildlife Reserve to Chobe National Park

After your usual early morning wake-up call with a cup of coffee and biscuits, head into the bush hoping to see one more time a pack of wild dogs and other predators before you leave for your next destination in the Chobe National Park.

Here, where the largest elephant population in the world treads determinedly across the dusty ground and the African Fish eagle swoops down to the great river, uttering his charismatic call, you will find a new Botswana wilderness to explore. And not only is Chobe National Park famous for its huge herds of elephants but also its buffalo as well as the associated predators such as large pride of lions that have learnt to hunt them. There are also numerous antelope and other plains game as well as vast pods of hippos wallowing in the shallows of the River Chobe.
You will stay at Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge, a timeless explorer’s lodge that beats with the pulse of wild Africa. Besides the mysterious Savute Channel, this tented oasis is the perfect base to discover the wonders of Chobe National Park.

Day 5Chobe National Park – Livingstone

Today is another early rise for some tea and coffee before your last Botswana game drive. Back at the lodge and enjoy a hearty breakfast before being driven to the lodge airstrip for your light aircraft transfer to Kasane Airport. There, you will be met for your road transfer to aha The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa in Livingstone, your accommodation for the night.

Blending perfectly within the lush surroundings of the Zambezi Riverbank, aha The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa offers 5-star Victoria Falls accommodation nearby this impressive natural wonder of the world. Day 6Livingstone – Lusaka - Lower Zambezi National Park

After a leisurely breakfast followed by check out, you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport for your flight to Anabezi Camp via Lusaka Airport.
On arrival at Jeki Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi National Park, you will be welcomed by a guide waiting to take you on a 1h30 mn game drive road transfer through the Lower Zambezi to Anabezi Camp located on the banks of the almighty Zambezi River.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy lunch and later embark on your afternoon sunset cruise or you may decide to soak up the sun at your private plunge pool.

Anabezi Camp, a distinguished luxury safari camp set on the Eastern End of the Lower Zambezi National Park will be your home for the following five days. Accommodation here consists of 11 large luxurious tents including two bedrooms family suite. Each luxury tent has its private plunge pool set into the expansive wood deck with a stunning view. The tents are generously spaced along the Zambezi Riverbank and the Mushika floodplain, allowing the game to wander in and around the camp freely.

Day 7 - 9Explore Lower Zambezi National Park

Anabezi Camp offers a wide variety of land and water-based safari activities. Mesmerising game drives, tranquil river cruises, exciting fishing expeditions, canoe trips down the Zambezi’s quiet and secluded channels, wilderness walks accompanied by an experienced scout, and spectacular birding excursions are all part of the Anabezi experience.
The proximity of Anabezi to the Zambezi River and its position within the National Park lends itself to unparalleled wildlife encounters. A game drive will reveal a kaleidoscope of African animals, flourishing in their natural environment. An evening expedition may reveal one of our resident leopards, while on a morning drive you will almost certainly bump into a herd of elephants and may see local pride of lions or endangered wild dogs on an early morning hunting foray. Slow afternoons casting the Zambezi River for the legendary tiger fish will captivate fishing enthusiasts, while a leisurely paddle in a canoe down one of the river channels will reveal distant hippo, waterbuck, or a formidable gathering of buffalo.

Bird lovers are also rewarded during water activities as the riverbanks are also home to many bird species and flocks of birds skim the waterline, the wildlife viewing complimenting your fishing excursions.
