Tour Details

This 9 Nights solo Safari is one of our best seller tours as it unlocks huge savings on accommodation due to the single supplement being waived by 3 of the properties. This itinerary remains our guests’ favourite because it gives the traveller an opportunity to witness the positive impact of more than 30 years of conservation efforts by andBeyond, on the Zulu communities, wildlife and the environment at Phinda Private Game Reserve hence igniting the will to become part of this great initiate of “care of the people, land and wildlife”.

This adventure combines a visit to 3 Southern Africa iconic holiday destinations: Phinda Game Reserve, Cape Town, and Victoria Falls.

Kick-off this journey at Phinda Private Reserve, home to Africa’s Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), as well as 436 bird species for exclusive and outstanding game viewing in a spectacular wilderness setting.

From here, proceed to Cape Town to explore the rainbow nation in its full spectrum: beautiful Cape Dutch homesteads – traditional dancers with painted faces performing on the streets- the smell of spicy Malay cooking – Table Mountain, either by cable car or manually climbing up routes of varying degrees of difficulty – the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and many more. Your journey continues as you discover one of the “Seven Wonders of the World”. Often referred to as ‘The Smoke that Thunders”, you will spend the last 3 days exploring the beauty of Victoria Falls.

While on Game Drive, you will stop for Sundowners at a magnificent location and toast the splendour of Africa as you watch the sunset. As darkness falls, nocturnal animals of the bush get excited as they celebrate “their dawn” and come out. Your skilled tracker will scan the landscape using a spotlight, which illuminates animals’ eyes. A variety of completely different species can be seen on the night drive back to the lodge.
