This Honeymoon journey is a combination of thrilling game drives and a beach holiday to ensure relaxation and quality moments together.
Start by exploring Kenya’s two best Wildlife locations: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy offering outstanding game viewing and spectacular views of Mt. Kenya to the south and arid lowlands to the north. Then move to the world-renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration as well as its resident’s Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino.

Day 1Arrival in Nairobi Kenya

On Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by our Representative and transferred to Fairview Hotel Nairobi locate a few minutes’ drive from Kenyatta International Conference Centre and two kilometres from National Museum of Nairobi. Enjoy a refreshing Welcome drink while completing check-in procedures. Settle in your room, unwind, relax and get used to the African sky.
Depending on your arrival time, you may opt to explore the beautiful city of Nairobi or stay at the hotel and enjoy the amenities on offer including dining at one of the four hotel restaurants.

Day 2Nairobi to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Pick up after breakfast from your Nairobi hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for a flight to Meru departing at 8.30 a.m. Arrive in Lewa at 9.20 a.m. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be welcomed and driven to Lewa Safari Camp. Enjoy a game drive transfer on your way to the camp.
Lewa Safari Camp is located within the Lewa Conservancy, one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the Reticulated Giraffe to Grevy’s zebras and Beisa Oryxes.
Visitors to Lewa are privy to some of the most spectacular wildlife viewing that Kenya has to offer – lions, leopards and jackals thrive on the rich diversity of prey that inhabits the area. You will also meet a good number of both black and white rhinos among other wildlife.

Day 2 - 3Lewa Conservancy

There is nothing more romantic than a safari! Already an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime and pampered experience; safaris offer incredible sunsets, romantic tents with spectacular views, and relaxed al fresco dinners. The beautiful setting at Lewa Safari Camp is ideal for that very special romantic holiday. Partake in fewer or more activities and let yourself be pampered by the staff, indulge in massages – a wonderful way to ease the stress out of tired shoulders and backs – after all, it is your honeymoon!
You will set out just before sunrise in search of a game as you enjoy the richness of the park’s wildlife and endless savannah. The game driving is outstanding with plenty of black rhinos, buffalos, the rare Grevy Zebra and residents’ predators, to a backdrop of beautiful views of snow-capped Mont Meru. Guests visiting Lewa Safari Camp will be treated to morning and afternoon Game drives, guided walks, Ngare Ndare forest conservancy community visit, sundowners as well as bush picnics. In between the game drives guests will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the camp’s amenities.

Day 4Lewa Conservancy to Masai Mara National Reserve

Early rise followed by a morning game drive before breakfast. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before being transferred back to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Arrival at the airstrip you will be welcomed. Take your first glimpses of the vast savannah and wildlife on your way to the camp to andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp, the perfect location for those wanting to observe the spectacle of the migration, classified among the “Seven Wonders of the World”, when, from July to November, over 1.3 million wildebeest and zebra embark on a trek from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara and cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures.

Enjoy lunch and later depart for an afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wilderness areas of the world where large mammals are varied and easy to see.
You will frequently see impalas, topis, giraffes, elephants, zebras, buffalos, warthogs and other grazing herbivores. With so many prey animals, Masai Mara is a veritable bonanza for large predators, such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, crocodiles and other stealthy, powerful hunters. The abundance of terrestrial animals is enhanced by the presence of more than 450-winged species, including 57 birds of prey.
Enjoy your afternoon game drive with a stop for Sundowners just for you at the banks of the Mara River to stretch your legs while marvelling at the splendour of an African sunset, and the absolute tranquillity of the bush.

Back at the lodge and there is time to freshen up before dinner. Enjoy Dinner under the stars -weather permitting. It is time to discuss the afternoon highlights around the open fire. Go to bed listening to the sounds of lion, leopard and hyena foraging and hunting, whilst being cosseted with traditional and modern comforts such as a campfire and cosy duvets.

Day 5 - 6Masai Mara National Reserve

Wake up to the sights and sounds of one of the world’s premier wildlife destinations.
The next two days will be spent searching for more predators and perhaps their cubs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.
You can go for a sunrise game drive if you wish to spot some Nocturnal animals as they retire back to their hiding after a night out of hunting. You will then head out for a full day of game drives after breakfast with a Picnic lunch included. Masai Mara is the home for lots of animal and bird species in addition to the Wildebeests Migration Herds. If you are lucky, you will witness a kill. A candle-lit dinner for two is served on your tent’s deck.

Day 7Masai Mara to Diani beach

You are woken up by your room steward, with a steaming cup of Kenyan coffee, tea or a cup of hot chocolate before you depart for a romantic hot air balloon (depending on the weather, at an extra cost). This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. There are breathtaking views of the winding Mara River filled with Hippos and Crocodiles and the wild animals dotting the Mara planes. Once you are up, you won’t want to come down again, but once you are down Champagne breakfast awaits you in the wild. Short game drives en route back to the camp. Back at the camp and seat for a scrumptious breakfast before being transferred to the airstrip for a scheduled flight to Diani Ukunda airstrip on the Kenyan coast. On arrival, you will be met and driven for a few minutes road transfer to Elewana AfroChic the perfect romantic retreat. Afrochic Diani is considered the ultimate getaway for the discerning traveller who wants to simply ‘flop and drop’ and enjoy the spectacular views of exotic and ancient dhows in full sail.

Day 8 - 13Diani beach

During your week honeymoon stay on this beach paradise, miles of expansive and near-deserted beaches await discovery. Perhaps take a stroll along the beach, listen to the calming rhythm of the waves breaking on the white sandy beach, just relaxing and doing as little or as much as you like, after all, it is your honeymoon!

Sip a refreshing cocktail while watching the sun slip into the calm ocean. Experience the romance of savouring a private candlelight dinner and later drift off to sleep to the gentle sound of the waves. If you wish to be more active, various activities are on offer such as Sea Kayaks, Body Boards, Kite Surfing, Wind Surfing or embark on snorkelling excursions, and Scuba diving.

Depending on the tide, explore the reef life of the Kenyan South Coast with a local fisherman. Get to know more about different species of Sea Urchins, Sea Spiders, Corals, Starfish and Stonefish. A very interesting tour starts right at the edge of AfroChic at the beach. Local boutiques, spas, and craft markets are a short ride away, and day trips to Shimba Hills Reserve and Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary add to the Kenyan coastal experience. Day 14Say goodbye to paradise

Today is the final day of your East Africa epic honeymoon. But this morning, there will be time for one last snorkel or walk on the beach, before a leisurely tasty breakfast. Then it will be time to bid farewell to Elewana AfroChic and its staff for who you have become a family by now. Your short road transfer will deliver you back to the Ukunda airstrip for your flight to Wilson’s Nairobi airport. From there, you will be met and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or a city hotel for onward private arrangements.
